Utsutsu Shrine in Greenery
They say the garden of Utsutsu Shrine located in Utsutsu-cho was designed by Muso Kokushi (a Zen priest in the 14th century).
In the garden,rocks,groves,ponds and springs were ingeniously laid out.
The garden expresses an atmosphere of calmness.
