Tofu Memorial Hall

Onono Tofu was one of the great calligraphers of the 9th century (the Heian era).
To promote his achivements and the calligraphic culture,Tofu Memorial Hall was opened in Matsukawado-cho in November of 1981.
It is one of the few art museums of calligraphy in Japan.
